Working out

I've been working out regularly for the past several months, mainly doing the elliptical machine. I try to visit the gym 3 times a week for about 20-30 minutes. When I first started, my intention was just to fulfill my new years resolution (of working out more). My goal was to just get in and get out of the gym and spend as little time there as possible. As long as I visited the gym and did something, I would be satisfied. I wasn't expecting the workouts to have any effects since the duration was short.

Now that many months have elapsed since the first work out, I've realized that they definitely have had a positive result, which was not expected. For example, when I previously went mountain biking, I was out of breath and always had a difficult time keeping up. Now that doesn't happen any more.

I would recommend that everyone should work out 2 or 3 times a week too. Even if the workouts are short, they will make a difference. Twenty minutes, two or three times a week is not asking for much. Each workout is the equivalent time of watching one half-hour tv show. Surely, you can spare that.
