My craptastic car!

Recently my car window regulator broke, which caused the window to fall into the door. The regulator consists of the window motor and the parts that connect it to the window. I went online and ordered the part I needed (and saved a bundle of money)
I ended up driving around windowless for two days before someone suggested taping the window in the up position. Driving on the highway without a window sucks, cuz it's windy, hot and the AC goes right out the car. I was much happier once I taped up the window.
After the new part arrived, I installed it myself. It wasn't very difficult although it did consume several hours. After installing the regulator, but before reassembling the door, I tested it out. It worked nearly perfectly except for the fact that the window went the wrong way. When I push the button to raise the window, the window goes down, and vice versa. Apparently, the new window regulator was wired in reverse, with no easy fix.. The only way to fix it, is to cut the wiring and wire it correctly. Not wanting to mess with it anymore, I just left it the way it was.
I guess, I'll just have to live with it for now.
