More hail

Another hail storm, except the hail was on steroids today. The picture on the left is from a local news website. I would have taken my own pictures, but I was at work and didn't have my camera.

I can't wait until I get brick put onto my house. All the old brick have been removed and the new brick will be installed next week. The exposed areas of the house are covered with plastic tarp to prevent water from getting in, but I'm sure some water is still getting around the tarp.

Everything is bigger in Texas

I had a hail storm a few days ago and snapped a picture of the first piece of hail I saw. This piece is about the diameter of a nickel. I'm sure I could've found a larger one, but I didn't want to go hunting around in the storm. This is small compared to the golf-ball sized hail of other storms. A coworker of mine said he had hail puncture a hole in his roof last year. Needless to say, there was plenty of damage.
