Flu shot
Just got my flu shot today. My employer paid for it and even made it very convenient to get the shot. The had a little area set up in the cafeteria to administer it. Since it didn't cost me anything and it was effort free, I figured I have nothing to lose. It probably makes financial sense for them to offer a $30 flu shot for free rather than have employees being ill and take a bunch of sick days. I would recommend everyone get a flu shot if they can.

I went with Sherry to get her a flu shot, but the line was long, mostly with geriatric patients, so we're gonna try again another time and place. -Cecil
According to my professor, flu shots are 50/50. Even if you got a shot, it does not garantee you'll not get sick.

If flu shots reduce your chance of getting the flu by 50%, then that's still pretty good. Even if you do get the flu, the symptons will probably be less severe with the flu shot since the body will have already started developing antibodies...
