Lasik?
I've been thinking about getting Lasik eye surgery for years, but now I'm actually thinking about really doing it. The major factor stopping me is the possibility of things going wrong or the unforseen long term consequences.
Anyone have any input (success stories or horror stories?)

me too.
I know quite a few people who've done it and they all seem to be really happy about it. I don't know anyone personally that's had a bad experience. Although I've heard that it may take up to a year to heal where you don't have the halo effect anymore. Personally I wouldn't do it unless I was guaranteed 100% that it would turn out ok. Also the thought of having to cut the cornea makes me squeamish.
